Delhi Presents Nativefest: Join us on April 25th for an all day event featuring a Nursery Walkabout, Guest Speakers, Bingo, Film screening, Marketplace, Pop-Up Deli, and of course, Plants & so much more!

9:30-10:30 NURSERY WALKABOUT (Registration required)

Register to get in early as we take a tour of the nursery to highlight the natives we have to offer and why we brought them in. We have doubled our dedicated area for natives and will have hundreds of plants to offer. AND, take 10% OFF your total nursery purchase!

11:00-12:00 RIDGE COOK from the CINCINNATI ZOO

Ridge will be doing a presentation on interesting plants that may be new to you.  Many species that are not typically available for sale in a retail setting, as well as how to care for them in your gardens.

12:00-1:00 JENNIFER SMITH with WIMBERG LANDSCAPING

Jenn is an award-winning designer who specializes in natural design.  She will be doing a presentation to highlight specifically how you can bring nature into your home landscape by using the appropriate plants.

2:00-3:00 TIM SAUPE with the DELHI NURSERY

Tim will be discussing his thought process behind turning his parent’s home into a dynamic and diverse showcase garden.  What to plant and why, while covering every conceivable need from the insects all the way up to the humans.

3:00-4:00 PLANT BINGO! (Registration required)

It’s a craze across the nation!  Join us as we sit back and play bingo for an hour with plant prizes including trees, perennial packs and more.  Light refreshments will be provided as we relax in the greenhouse and have some fun.  $25 for five rounds with multiple ways to win.

4:00-5:00 DOUG TALLAMY FILM “WHY THE RUSH?”

Doug is an award-winning author and Professor of Entomology.  We will be showing an hour- long film from the GOAT of the movement to bring nature home.  In the film, he will discuss what we can do to try and reverse the disappearance of the wildlife around us.

YOUNG BUCK DELICATESSEN

Up from OTR, Young Buck will be here as a pop-up deli selling incredible sandwiches.  Everything they offer, from the bread and meats to the pickles and jams are made by them from scratch.  Trust me, their focaccia is incredible.

MARKETPLACE
